Text Box: Mill Cottage was formerly the old labourer’s living quarters associated with the neighbouring water mill. The small two storey flint walled cottage with only two rooms on each floor was extended in a sympathetic style in 1986. Its setting, in an acre of cottage gardens in a rural location, provides a tranquil and peaceful environment in the countryside.

With a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere, hearty breakfasts overlooking the mill pond, good parking facilities and a convenient location between Arundel and Chichester, Mill Cottage is the ideal base for visiting the many attractions in the area. Horse and motor racing at Goodwood, The Arundel Festival, Chichester Festivities and many other events are all within a radius of 20 miles.

For a small additional payment arrangements can be made for ramblers to be transported to, and picked up from an agreed meeting point on either the South Downs Way or The Monarch’s Way. Alternatively, arrangements can also be made for luggage to be transported to the next overnight accommodation.

Guests’ children are welcome to play in the large garden, if supervised by parents.
Smoking is not permitted in the house, but smokers are welcome to use the garden.
Private bath and shower facilities are available.
